The essential part of the artist's design work is the deep connection with light and the turning point during the realization of an idea, it is the understanding of what an object really wants to highlight.
The creation of works story through light allows the artist to grasp its real essence, to enhance its most important points giving it an identity and life. The peculiarity of works names is the invisible structure that holds together the idea and the object which is generally spontaneously and unexpectedly reached.
Specifically for the work "The Illuminated Trunk", it is not a simple trunk, but it represents the concretization of an experience, a proven sequence of sensations which have taken shape. The trunk has his own life, communicates its history and this is what distinguishes it: everyone sees something different in the trunk, who sees butterflies, who a face, who a wild boar. Each of the observers are able to establish a dialogue and share their own story with it.
